Chocolate Coconut Macaroons recipe

Ingredients:

2 egg whites.
1 ½ cups of coconut.
¼ cup of granulated sugar.
3 tablespoons of cocoa powder.
2 tablespoons of unbleached flour.
1 tablespoon of corn syrup.
1 teaspoon of vanilla.
Pinch of salt.

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).

In a bowl, mix the coconut, sugar, cocoa powder, flour and salt.

In another bowl, mix the corn syrup, and vanilla.

Combine the two mixtures just until moistened.

Using a small ice cream scoop, place about 15 mounds of coconut mixture about two inches apart onto a foil-lined baking sheet.

Bake for 16-20 minutes or until set.
