Creamy Coconut Frosting recipe
Ingredients:
1 can (13 oz) of evaporated milk.
1 cup of sugar.
½ cup of butter.
3 medium egg yolks.
1 teaspoon of vanilla.
1 ½ cup of flaked coconut.
Directions:
In a heavy saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, butter, egg yolks and vanilla.
Cook over a medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened (about 12 minutes). The mixture will be the consistency of pudding.
Remove from heat and stir in the flaked coconut.
Allow to cool completely use to frost a cake.
